In spotify, I can copy an iframe snippet for any given song to embed a web component anywhere that can render html. I have provided a screenshot example of what this looks like.
It would be AMAZING if for any annotation in memex I could copy an iframe snippet which renders a web component of that annotation. That way, I could copy this iframe and paste it into logseq, obsidian, etc. This would enable me to embed my memex annotations in the context of my main "thinking space", significantly enhancing the contextual value of creating annotations across the web.
The concept could be further expanded as well: (1) iframes for a webpage (showing all the annotations/highlights for a url in one web component); (2) iframes for a space (can be done already with a shared space)
This would allow all users of memex to integrate their annotations more seamlessly with their notes and would likely attract more people in the PKM / TfT space to consider using memex.
