Delete 'Followed Spaces'

To be honest I really don't understand 'Followed Spaces' and I have no idea how I am creating them in my side bar. There are too many taking up precious real estate, I just want them to disappear.

A way to delete/unfollow 'Followed Spaces' would really be phenomenal.
