hypothesis spaces

Hypothesis is the main browser annotation tool, provides spaces and is pretty open source.

Memex has more features, notably search but a smaller community. It seems like a no-brainer to be able to include hypothesis spaces for the browser annotations. With that I mean not only merely importing the annotations one time, but the ability to add a live hypothesis space and have any annotations I make in there go to the hypothesis server such that hypothesis users can see them and vice-versa.

Maybe you have licensing reasons for not having this, but I, as a user, am fine having certain restrictions to make this possible.
Restrictions like:
- no automatic uploading of hypothesis annotations made by other users
- no inclusions of hypothesis-only annotations in search
- no memex-powered collaboration features for hypothesis annotations
- no storage of anything put in hypothesis spaces on memex servers (even if I'd lose roughly all memex features, I at least don't have to use 2 different plugins. Though you could still store stuff into my browser's cache so I don't need to miss all what memex has to offer.)

Locking my annotations to one particular service is highly unappealing and I think it is clear that services that allow users to do as they please with their data (e-mail, obsidian) become more popular than services that obstruct integrations and merely, hesitantly allow you to export your data manually (Apple products for example only get away with it because they invest a tremendous amount into their UX).
