Inbox counter does not go down when deleting items

• Which browser, operating system and versions of those are you using?
  Firefox 120.0.1 on Ubuntu 23.10

• Which version of Memex are you running?
  Memex 3.8.35

• What are the steps you took that lead to the bug?

I open the Dashboard and click on the Inbox.

I clear the items one by one after having checked if I have anything to change for each one.

I decide to delete a few items in the Inbox from the database, when I do that the counter does not go down.

After having cleared all the items one by one, the counter still indicates the number of items that I deleted instead of just clearing them :

At this point I have to click on "Clear Inbox" in order to clear the counter.
