new dashboard is great but some missing features (UI/UX)

thanks for the new dashboard, great addition !

• it would be nice to have a button on the sidebar to open the dashboard

• from the dashboard, it would be nice to have a button to open settings
  

I guess the feature request is to have more feature parity and similar ux between sidebar and dashboard ?
