Option to set video timestamps on an offset

It would be cool if, when using the Video Timestamp button, I could set a setting that would mark the timestamp to some measure of seconds before the current timestamp. I don't usually know that I want to timestamp something until after the video has played past it. If I want to capture the exact moment that I wanted to capture, I have to push the video back a couple seconds and get the timestamp then.
