Sorting & Grouping options

Would be nice to get some standard sorting & grouping options for our bookmarks & highlights.

Sort by:

• domain

• date added

• date modified

• custom (drag & drop!!!)

Group by:

• ….

• (same options)

Also some extra view options wouldn’t hurt.

I’m considering coming over from Raindrop.io, which I use as

a) Bookmark Manger

b) Web Highlighter

c) Read It Later app

It works reasonably well…

What I like is that I can set a custom order for my bookmarks with drag & drop, which is important for me -– I don’t like software to decide for me in which order I see things.

Also, you can finetune exactly which info you get to see in your folders: just the url? Just the article title? Tags? Timestamps?
So in this department Raindrop (for now) is more user friendly.

Still, it’s mainly a bookmark manager…

My current issue with Raindrop is that it’s impossible to get my articles + highlights into Notion without a huge hassle.

Also, it’s not really made to annotate the web; -– just highlight it (a bit).

Hope to see Memex evolve into a direction that will be suitable for me! 🙂
