the widget at search engines is too wide

In brave, the (amazing) widget that gets placed in there is too wide. It varies, but usually my browser will give me a horizontal slider.
Usually the important bits are visible, this is merely an unaesthetic presentation of the widget rather than an actual inconvenience.
