Highlights export to Readwise only once (after adding API key)

Bug Reports

  • After adding my Readwise API key to memex, existing highlights have been exported to Readwise.

  • Highlights taken after adding the API key never made it into Readwisi

  • Removing and re-adding the Readwise API key triggered a new export of highlights to Readwise

  • Again, highlights taken thereafter don't appear in Readwise

    Can someone share with me the annotation and the page you are trying to annotate? I can't reproduce it in my tests so suspecting maybe something in the content of the annotation itself may trip up the sync.

    Do you have problems with ANY annotation? Meaning if you try another site and highlight it does work?

    I just did a quick check on my account and it all seems to work.

    How many highlights did you import?
    First assumption: The import process may still be going on and it just didn't start syncing them before the others were done.
    Second assumption: There is usually a bit of a delay before even individually synced highlights show up. I've seen 20-30s on the Readwise side, for whatever reason.

      It was just one new highlight added to test the export, and I checked it a couple hours later.
